Sexual abuse is rampant in the transgender community. Just this month, it was revealed that one of the administrators on three of the most popular transgender subreddits is a child sex predator. Branden Michael Dunleavy goes by “ranshin-da-anarchist” on Reddit, and he is registered as a child sex offender, according to Reduxx.
What’s worse, r/MtF subreddit moderator u/Cedarwolf reportedly knew about Dunleavy’s criminal history and refused to remove him as a moderator because “the next few years are going to be very hard for trans folks.” Instead, u/Cedarwolf suggested that Dunleavy could use his username and start a new anonymous account to hide his real identity and pedophilic record.
But this isn’t the first cover-up of predatory behavior in the transgender community. Since Reduxx’s initial exposé, it’s been revealed that u/Cedarwolf previously allowed another user to use the subreddit to invite children to his home for cross-sex hormone injections.
Far too often, this disturbing, pedophilic behavior goes unchecked. When I identified as transgender, I was subjected to inappropriate, sexualized messages. I was only a teenager. The abuse went further when a transgender-identifying adult in a gender support group inappropriately touched me. The experience was so traumatic that I never wanted to experience sex again, and I wanted to escape my womanhood even more. Just a year later, after I started testosterone injections, a surgeon removed both of my healthy breasts.
But no human can change their sex. By the time I realized this, it was too late for my body. My voice is permanently lowered, I suffer from vaginal atrophy and dryness, and when I became pregnant, I was in agony when breastmilk from remaining breast tissue was trapped in my chest with nowhere to go. The years of medical abuse have left me with a lifetime of health complications and years of trauma—all because of transgender ideology.
My experience isn’t an isolated incident either. As Reduxx’s reporting reveals, there is a repeated pattern of pedophilic behavior in transgender communities. It’s a story I’ve also personally heard countless times from other detransitioners. Fellow Independent Women Ambassador Luke Healy, for example, was groomed into transgender ideology online and was exposed to explicit content in these communities. In the trans community, whether it comes to protecting children from adult sexual choices, surgeries, or content, there are no walls in place to keep kids safe.
In a community that subjects children to medical abuse and brainwashes them with a dangerous ideology, it should be no surprise that sexual abuse is rampant. With little to no levelheaded oversight, vulnerable children are left unprotected among sexually confused adults. And it’s these children who pay the price of lifelong trauma and medical mutilation.
Since his unmasking, Dunleavy has deleted his Reddit account. But no one knows if he has already created another account and rejoined online communities where children are present. Posts calling out u/Cedarwolf, the moderator who defended Dunleavy, have been deleted in other transgender subreddits. u/Cedarwolf stepped down from his moderator role after the controversy went viral. Yet, in a previous version of a now-edited post, the new head moderator of r/MtF continued defending u/Cedarwolf.
As the subreddit reorganizes, many users are focused on whether the community should allow how-tos on “DIY” (do-it-yourself) hormone treatments and “horny posting.”
Transgender Redditors and activists are pushing for disturbing sexual content and illegal drug experimentation, all in the name of becoming the opposite sex. Along the way, they are leading children down the same path that I tried. It’s a road full of trauma, pain, and regret.
Luckily, however, detransitioners around the country are starting to get justice for the harm they have experienced. Independent Women Ambassador Soren Aldaco’s case against her former therapist was recently heard by the Texas Supreme Court, Chloe Cole’s lawsuit against her former providers is moving to trial, Fox Varian was awarded $2 million in a lawsuit against her former surgeon and psychologist, and I have an ongoing lawsuit in North Carolina against my former doctors.
As Americans wake up to the dangers of gender ideology, it’s time to protect children from gender abuse. Reclaiming biological reality isn’t just about protecting children from gender mutilation by their doctors—it’s also about dismantling an entire ideology that preys on children.
